Under the direct supervision of the referring physician, our highly skilled home care professionals deliver quality, compassionate care. We also include families and caregivers in the care process, offering valuable information, guidance and – most of all – support. It's not just low pay and lack of benefits that hobbles the hiring of workers, according to experts who study the issue. Volunteers from community organizations can provide basic comfort to the patient through companionship, helping with personal care, providing transportation, emotional support, and/or helping with paperwork. Medical social workers provide various services to the patient, including counseling and locating community resources to help the patient in his or her recovery.
